Why it earns a place on the shelf

One simple tool, nothing to maintain

There is no motor, no battery and no setting to get wrong. What you are buying is a shaped piece of aluminium that applies pressure well - and stays out of your way the rest of the time.

01

Pressure, not vibration

The rounded germanium beads sit proud of the head, so the pressure lands in points rather than spreading flat across the skin. That is the whole mechanism, and it works the same on day one and day four hundred.

02

Face and body in one

Narrow enough to trace a jawline or cheekbone, long enough to run down the neck, shoulders, arms or calves. Most tools this size only manage one or the other.

03

Nothing to run out

No batteries to buy, no cable to lose, no charge to remember. It sits in a drawer for a month and works exactly as well when you pick it up again.

04

Solid without being heavy

Anodised aluminium gives it enough weight to feel like a real object rather than a plastic gadget, while staying light enough to hold for a few minutes one-handed.

How to use it

Slow passes, light hand

It takes about three minutes. The two mistakes people make are going too fast and pressing too hard - neither gets you anywhere faster.

Start on clean skin

Use it after cleansing, before or after your usual serum - whichever you prefer. There is no order it has to go in.

Add slip if you want it

On bare skin the beads grip slightly. A few drops of facial oil or a leftover layer of serum lets the head glide instead of drag, which most people find more comfortable.

Work outward and upward

Draw it slowly from the centre of the face out toward the ear along the jaw and cheekbone, then down the side of the neck. Repeat a handful of times per side rather than pressing harder.

Wipe it down afterwards

A soft damp cloth over the head, then dry it before it goes back in the drawer. Don't soak it - the handle is not sealed.

Straight answers

Most of the questions on this one are about what it isn't, so let's get those out of the way first.

Ask a question
Does it vibrate or need batteries?

No. It is entirely manual - there is no motor, no battery compartment and no switch. All of the movement comes from your hand.

Is it a roller? Does the head spin?

No, and we want to be clear about it because it is often sold as one. The head is fixed - the beads do not rotate. You glide the bar across the skin rather than rolling it.

What is it made of?

The body and handle are anodised aluminium and the head is set with rounded germanium beads. It is not stainless steel, whatever you may see it listed as elsewhere.

Can I use it with oil or serum?

Yes, and most people prefer it that way - a little slip stops the beads dragging on dry skin. Wipe the head afterwards so product doesn't build up between the beads.

Is there any difference between the colours?

None at all. Rose, Violet and Silver are the same wand in three anodised finishes - same size, same head, same weight.

What if I change my mind?

You have 30 days. Send it back unused and in its original packaging and we'll refund you - just contact us with your order number first.
